Wildlife outnumbers the residents ten-fold and animals are commonly seen any day of the year in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, which is home to many species of wildlife including elk, mule deer, moose, pronghorn, birds, gray wolves, and a wide variety of fish. Throughout this vast wilderness, there are over 1,300 named lakes!
Come and see these magnificent animals and majestic views from on top of our gentle horses. Experiences are geared toward the level of the rider.*
*Weight and age limit: Special permission needed for any riders over 300 lbs. No riders younger than 6 years of age.

Packages & Rates
Youth Riding Lesson, approx. 30 mins one-on-one. $50/person
Road Loop Trail Ride, approx. 30 mins, super easy and beginner-friendly. $50/person
Two Hour Trail Ride, beautiful mountain and lake views and scenery, some steep climbs with rocks, beginners cautioned but more than welcome. $85/person
Four Hour Trail Ride, beautiful mountain and lake views and scenery, some steep climbs with rocks, lunch included, beginners cautioned but more than welcome. $175/person

Pack Trips:
The base nightly rate $400, includes two wranglers and provided essential gear such as the horse feed, camping gear, and cooking set-up, as well as a packhorse with up to 150 lbs. of gear.
Additional $250/person/night.
Additional gear/packhorse - each packhorse can have up to 150lbs of gear. $150/additional packhorse/night.
Gear Drops:
$550 for the base per day. Base price includes one pack horse (150lbs of gear).
Additional packhorse(s), $150/additional packhorse. Each day we can travel up to 20 miles, the mileage will be counted as it can be ridden -round trip- from wherever the closest trailer parking is.
Out-of-Area Trailering Fees (ex. Daniel/Horse Creek, Boulder/Scab Creek), $75 + $60 for every 20 miles.

Instructor/Wrangler: Jessica Olson
Jessica is born and raised in Oregon in the Willamette Valley. Her passions include riding and training horses. She has gained a lot of experience during her past 7 years of being with horses. She also loves photography, cooking, camping, hunting and exploring. You will see her in all different areas around Half Moon Lake Lodge as she is excited to start her new adventure here with us!
